Reigning Over Two Champions
This original is about an event leading up to the Superbowl. You have two champions
representing the league in football. As you can see there is regular division drawing, a form of
Escher with the lizards. It is about two rings forming a football in the middle. I am creating
surrealism with the lizards crawling over the bridge as the lizards walks out the fence.
At the same time, I have butterflies forming and flying around the scene, then changing to
caterpillars. WHO SAYS A BUTTERFLY TURNS INTO CATERPILLAR, NO!!
CATERPILLARS TURNS INTO BUTTERFLIES!....... well that's what happen in the picture..
I did this original with .5mm pencil lead along with watercolor inks
on lenox100 acid free paper.
